This special issue of the journal Fruits is devoted to Africa, a continent particularly hard-hit by malnutrition, for which under-sed species are a particular challenge. It includes fifteen recent articles already published in the journal, and is the second issue devoted to agro-biodiversity and under-used species. The fifteen articles in the issue cover different aspects of the research being done in Africa on under-used fruit tree species.
