The first Conference of African Research on Food and Nutrition, AGRAR 2013, is being held from 4 to 6 June in Yamoussoukro, Ivory Coast. It has been organized by CIRAD, the West and Central African Council for Agricultural Research and Development (WECARD) and the Institut National Polytechnique de Yamoussoukro (INP FHB), and is intended to take stock of African research in relation to changes in agriculture, food and nutrition since the 2008 price crisis.
