A compilation of experiments with managing various wood and non-wood forest product supply chains in two African countries, Niger and Mali, and Madagascar. The book defends the idea that promoting the use of renewable natural resources is the only way of protecting forest ecosystems in these countries, against a backdrop of State decentralization.
