In response to the need for skills generated by the boom in agro-ecology, establishments belonging to Agreenium (AgrocampusOuest, AgroParisTech, AgroSup Dijon, CIRAD, INPT, INRA and Montpellier SupAgro) and the University of Lorraine (ENSAIA) set up the Virtual University of Agro-ecology , which is now launching its first self-study module: "Qu’est-ce que l’agroécologie?".
