The INRA-CIRAD Joint Consultative Committee on Ethics recently turned its attention to the burning issue of data sharing and management. What are the constraints and responsibilities involved in data sharing? How can researchers be supported in this context? In particular, the Ethics Committee recommends setting up a body on this topic that scientists from the two organizations could consult, and drafting a specific policy.
