CIRAD was delighted to welcome Mrs Ramata Bakayolo-Ly, Ivorian Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, in Montpellier on 27 June 2016. Her visit saw the signature of the first scientific collaboration agreements between the two parties, as part of the "research/higher education" component of the deleveraging/development (C2D) contract between France and Ivory Coast. It followed on from the signature in Abidjan in May of a general agreement between CIRAD and the Ministry. Other contracts should follow very shortly.
