For more than twenty years now, baobabs have been a passion for Pascal Danthu, an ecologist with CIRAD. Over the past ten years, he has been working with colleagues from Madagascar on research projects aimed at filling in the gaps in our scientific knowledge of this mysterious tree, of which six of the nine recorded species are endemic to Madagascar.
