A critical analysis of each of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), their interactions and the contradictions they also bring. The SDGs form a global action framework that was adopted by all the UN member countries in September 2015, concern countries in both the northern and southern hemispheres, and encompass economic aspects, social development and conservation. This book, which targets a wide audience, sheds light on the main challenges of the 2030 Agenda for sustainable development.
