May 10, 2019 at 11:10AM The sixth mass extinction calls for stronger global governance of biodiversity and an economic paradigm shift

The report on the IPBES global assessment of biodiversity and ecosystem services is now out. One of the conclusions is that humans are responsible for a sixth mass extinction that could threaten their very existence. Profound economic, social, policy and technological change is vital.
