France and CGIAR have launched a new transformative partnership platform (TPP) on agroecological approaches to building resilience of livelihoods and landscapes. The platform, coordinated by CIRAD and the CGIAR FTA (Forests, Trees and Agroforestry) programme, is intended to boost the amount of evidence available on the performance of agroecological systems in a wide range of different contexts. The platform hopes to attract numerous other partners, with the aim of coordinating work on agroecology across the international, national and local scales, in order to foster transitions to more sustainable agricultural and food systems.
