August 05, 2013 at 08:01PM Arthritis Drug for Horses Scheduled to Return to Market

FDA’s Center for Veterinary Medicine (CVM) has recently received phone calls and email from consumers who were unable to obtain Adequan IM and IA (polysulfated glycosaminoglycan), and Adequan Canine, an FDA-approved drug for the control of signs associated with non-infectious degenerative and/or traumatic lameness in horses and canines.
