At the last Conference of the Parties on climate change in November 2013 in Warsaw, developing countries were centre-stage. Given that historically, it is industrialized countries that have been responsible for climate change, these countries do not want to be forced to cut their greenhouse gas emissions. However, they can make a contribution, notably in the field of agriculture.
For several years now, CIRAD has been an observer of these talks, held during the annual Conference of the Parties.
