In Africa, organic farming is growing at a modest rate. At CIRAD, scientists are studying the technological and institutional conditions required to ensure that organic farming can meet the challenges of food security and population growth on the continent. The findings will be presented at the 4th African congress on organic agriculture organised in Senegal from the 5th to the 8th November.
