In an opinion column in Le Monde dated 15 November, the Presidents of CIRAD and INRA called for a rethink of global land use to ensure healthy, diversified, quality food supplies for all. The call was prompted by the results of the "Agrimonde-Terra" foresight study, which concluded with the publication of a book, Land Use and Food Security in 2050: a Narrow Road, available free on line on the Editions Quae website.
